Two top five finishes for EMAX at Cadwell Park

Max Finn was out in car 115 at Cadwell Park, having only raced once before at the circuit many years ago.

With a qualifying session which was packed, Max didn’t manage to find the space he needed to get a clear run and finished P12.

The race was split into three groups, and Max lined up on row 4 ready for the 15 minute race. A cracking start propelled car 115 up the order, and at a circuit notoriously difficult to pass at, Max was rewarded with P5.

Overnight the setup of the car was checked and changed, with hours spent getting the details right. Sunday would see Max start from row 4 again.

The race started and immediately Max took a place, then continued to battle throughout. With his tyres going off during the race as he pushed on, Max made a fantastic manoeuvre around the outside of car 42 to take a further slot, once again finishing P5 overall with a reasonable points tally from a circuit he had little experience on.

The car is continuing to be developed and EMAX are hoping for a slight increase in performance at the next race in September.
